Medela Symphony Hospital-Grade Rechargeable Breast Pump

Medela's latest innovation in hospital-grade electric double pumps, the Symphony, has been tested and proven to reduce pumping time. This groundbreaking breastpump is the first and only one with a 2-Phase Pumping Program, which mimics a baby's natural nursing rhythm. The program starts with a Let-Down phase, followed by a slower, deeper rhythm for efficient milk expression. The pumping programs are stored on a program card, allowing users to utilize them in the future.

The Symphony is the result of extensive research on electric breast pumps, initiated by Medela and conducted by internationally renowned lactation researcher Peter Hartmann, Ph.D. Medela products are renowned for their durability and high-quality craftsmanship, with the Medela Hospital Grade Breastpumps being the latest improvement in the company's lineup.

This versatile model offers both battery-powered (including a rechargeable battery pack) and wall-powered (with a wall adapter) options, providing users with the flexibility to pump anywhere. The package includes the Symphony breast pump, a rechargeable battery, a Symphony 2.0 Program Card, a container stand, a quick start card, a protector for the card/cord, and instructions for use. The carrying case and breast pump kit are sold separately.

The 2-Phase Expression technology is designed to mimic a baby's natural nursing rhythm, helping users initiate and maintain their milk supply, even when direct breastfeeding is not possible. This feature allows for convenient single or double pumping, with two separate, independent membrane units that enable users to switch between single and double pumping with ease.

The Symphony also features a let-down button, which allows mothers to easily return to the stimulation phase if needed. Moreover, the pump's kit is separate from the pumping mechanism and protected from overflow by a specially designed membrane, making it suitable for hospital-grade (multi-user) use.
